In three short months we’ll head to back to Cortes Island to host the 13th Annual Social Venture Institute at Hollyhock. This will be my fourth trek to the island and I am eager to return for the delicious organic food and excellent company of SVI'ers.

Last year first time SVI participants, Dale and Cindy Hogg, were inspired to create a legacy offering at the event. They provided leadership and inspiration and helped raise $20,000 from SVI’ers to provide solar panels for the hot tubs at Hollyhock. They also challenged future SVI participants to find ways to ensure Hollyhock’s long term sustainability. I can’t wait to see what this year’s participants come up with!
