Tzeporah Berman of Forest Ethics raised the temperature with her message of hope and challenge this gorgeous sunny day at the park with several thousand happy citizens.

It was great seeing Gregor out on his bike meeting and greeting, along with Peter Ladner and Sam Sullivan who are competing to run against Gregor or another Vision Vancouver nominee. It looked to me like this celebration was leaning heavily Gregor's way in this important election to see who will be the next Mayor of Vancouver. But I'm biased!

DJ Timothy Wisdom rocked the beach front with his ever potent mix of message and groove.

Evergreen has been throwing this party for 8 years now and let's hope it can happen for 800 more years. In other words, let's hope humans use our smarts and re design our way of defining civilization so that many more generations can enjoy the blessings of this planet.
