Sunday, June 15th was an exciting day for me. My friend Gregor Robertson won a resounding victory over two strong candidates, turning out an astounding 3,600 members to vote in the party nomination meeting. Vision Vancouver candidates have signed up enough new folks to become the largest municipal party in Canada. People say Gregor's 5,200 sign ups was a record for a single candidate.

As one of the first triple bottom line entrepreneurs Renewal Partners invested in over a decade ago, Gregor's emergence from CEO to leading politician has been fun and inspiring to watch.

Keep an eye on the November 15th municipal election in Vancouver with the USA Presidential election the week before. Check it out for yourself and consider getting involved as a volunteer, donor, or voter. And regardless of your political affiliation or preferences, by all means, vote and get involved in civic participation wherever you live.
