On Thursday, May 24, VANCOUVER+acumen, is hosting DIGNITY Vancouver – an annual photo auction benefiting Acumen Fund, a venture fund based in New York eradicating global poverty through their investments in India, Pakistan and East Africa.

This year’s event is at Vancouver Urban Winery’s stunning space in Gastown and features 21 international prints from Nuru Project and 5 prints from local social enterprise, Hope in Shadows, for live and silent auction.

Last year’s sold-out event in Vancouver raised $13,000 and was attended by 250+ professionals interested in social innovation, entrepreneurship, international development and photography.  Globally, DIGNITY has been hosted 12 times in 10 cities on 4 continents raising over $150,000 for Acumen Fund.

*Tickets include one complementary drink, appetizers from local restauranteurs, photography exhibit, keynote from poster-photographer Kirk Mastin and live entertainment!
