Interdependent Investments seeks an enthusiastic, highly organized and effective person to fill the role of Executive Assistant to the CEO, Joel Solomon.
Joel Solomon is Chairman of Renewal2 Investment Fund and President of Renewal Partners and has dedicated his career to advancing the field of aligning financial resources to create positive social and environmental change for future generations. Joel sits on numerous boards and holds positions with both RSF Social Finance and Vancity.
POSITION DETAILS
- The main areas of responsibility for this role include providing executive assistance, administrative support and special projects for the CEO.
- This is a part-time position with the possibility of full-time.
- Salary is commensurate with skills and experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Scheduling and tracking all appointments, event bookings, tasks, meeting follow up and securing speaking dates.
- Coordinating all travel bookings including flights, hotels, cars, etc
- Managing document paper flow and filing system
- Updating contacts in Outlook and Salesforce CRM and managing email lists
- Coordinating with Accounting Department to track receipts and purchases
- Assisting with writing and research projects including blogs, biographies, speaking presentations and interview opportunities
- Assisting with marketing activities such as updating Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and website
- Assisting with work-related event coordination
- Assisting with business development pipeline management
- Helping develop advisory services strategy and templates for CEO
- Other responsibilities as determined over time
The successful candidate is/has:
- Minimum of two years previous experience in executive level support, with proven good performance -- demonstrably related other training/experience working at this level may be considered.
- Highly organized, ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
- Expert in using Microsoft Outlook and excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc).
- Experience with office electronic devices including PC laptops, Blackberries, iPhones and iPads.
- Experience using Salesforce CRM is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience dealing with clients and public directly.
- Ability and willingness to take initiative and learn new tasks and skills when required.
