VISION VANCOUVER is a progressive political organization working towards solutions to end homelessness, build a green economy, invest in creativity and innovation, and improve the quality of life for all. Vision supports 16 elected officials, including the city’s Mayor, seven City Councillors, four Park Board Commissioners, and four Vancouver Board of Education Trustees. As a growing political organization and a dynamic force in municipal politics, we are looking for an outstanding individual to fill the position of:
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will lead the organization and oversee all areas of the party’s operations, including membership development, communications, public outreach, volunteer management and fundraising. You will lead a dedicated staff team and work closely with the Board and our elected officials to fulfill Vision Vancouver’s mandate.
YOU POSSESS experience leading membership-based organizations. Your track record of working with a variety of sectors and stakeholders speaks for itself. You have excellent communications skills and proven success in the areas of administrative and project management, community engagement and human resources. You are committed to a progressive future for the City of Vancouver and are excited to seize this new opportunity!
