Recollective is a values-based multidisciplinary green building consulting company in Vancouver, BC. We are seeking a highly organized, self-directed and talented full-time Intermediate to Senior Green Building Project Manager.

The primary focus of this position is LEED project management for Multi-Unit Residential, Commercial, Institutional and Industrial projects. Please note that we do not typically work on single-family residential scale projects. The position will involve a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
 
Responsibilities
● Manage and coordinate multiple green building projects
● Research and present green building strategies. Present analysis to clients and design teams
● Prepare reports and presentations that communicate green building performance results
● Work with project team to coordinate and complete LEED project documentation and
submission
● Liaise with Canada and US Green Building Council on LEED projects
● Facilitate design workshops and Integrated Design Process
● Develop and deliver education and training programs for building professionals
● Assist in developing business opportunities
● Assist with various aspects of operations
 
Qualifications
● Commitment to environmental responsibility and social equity
● Involvement in the green building / sustainability community (EGB, Green Drinks, CEP, etc)
● Self-directed, pro-active, motivated
● Project management experience
● LEED AP or LEED GA and experience working on LEED projects
● Familiarity with design and construction terms, techniques and process
● Minimum 2 years relevant experience (typically within the design and construction industry)
● Studied in one of the following fields: architecture, mechanical/electrical/civil engineering,
planning, landscape architecture, construction management, building science, development
management, or other related education
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and ability to
organize, prioritize and multi-task.
● Strong group facilitation skills
● Experienced with MS Office
 
Preference will be given to the following skills / experience
● Familiarity with Life Cycle Assessment and Life Cycle Costing
● Carbon accounting
● Quantity surveying
● Energy management or commissioning
● Energy modeling
● Electrical / Lighting design
● Civil / Stormwater design
● Landscape architecture
● Familiarity with Post-Occupancy Evaluation tools and process
● Experience with green building funding/incentives programs
● Programming or other IT skills
● Studies/experience in non-building fields such as biology, ecology, sociology, etc.
