1. Hollyhock’s Vancouver Marketing Manager
Location: VancouverAre you a seasoned marketing maven with diverse exposure to public relations, social media, effective writing, and managing interns? Can you fill programs, close group bookings, and do public presentations? Help us grow Hollyhock's lifelong learning programs and social change leadership mandate.Closing Date: This position will remain open until we find the right candidate.
2. Manager of Program Operations
Location: Hollyhock, Cortes Island BCHollyhock’s Manager of Program Operations is a skilled negotiator, a flawless planner, has extraordinary attention to detail and is dedicated to and passionate about Hollyhock’s mission.
This talented individual will develop positive and collaborative relationships with our 120+ presenters to deliver Hollyhock’s current programming season (Cortes Island and Vancouver). This position is responsible for two direct reports; Program Assistant and Production Supervisor.He/she is mature, has substantial experience in an office environment, demonstrated initiative and excellent decision-making and communication skills, and works well with a team. A background in marketing and event coordination is a strong asset. This position is full-time March through October with the possibility of part-time hours during the winter months. The successful candidate must be legally able to work in Canada and enjoy living in a rural setting.Closing Date: This position will remain open until we find the right candidate.
3. Front Office/Registration Manager
Location: Hollyhock, Cortes Island BCThe successful applicant will have 2+ years of leadership experience in hospitality or a related field, enjoy a sometimes hectic work environment, and have a sense of humour. We require excellent and broad ranging computer, systems, organizational and communication skills. Strong guest services, detail oriented and ability to multi-task with accuracy a must. A supportive, balanced disposition is important. This position is full-time March through October with the possibility of part-time hours during the winter months.Closing Date: This position will remain open until we find the right candidate
4. House/Host/Volunteer Manager
Location: Hollyhock, Cortes Island BCThe successful applicant is a highly skilled management team leader. This position is responsible for scheduling and overseeing Housekeeping, Hosting and Volunteer teams. Excellent interpersonal and strong organizational skills, a good aesthetic sense, a positive attitude and a sense of humour are required. This is a full-time, seasonal position beginning mid-March through mid-November.Closing Date: This position will remain open until we find the right candidate
