ethicalDeal is growing fast and needs some talented people to help reach our goals. We’re hiring an Inside Account Executive that will work from our head office in downtown Vancouver to develop relationships and secure advertising commitments from local green-minded activity and experience providers in cities across North America. You could be promoting everything from vegan cooking classes, to photography classes, to rock climbing, surfing and kayaking classes, to snowshoe adventures, to museums and theatre, to first aid wilderness training, to sustainable wine tours and more!

As part of our team you
- Make a high volume of outbound sales calls to a variety of local business owners across multiple cities in the US and Canada
- Develop and manage your own leads and drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
- Educate your clients on the power of online advertising with ethicalDeal
- We offer a base salary plus competitive uncapped commissions, bonuses, and an opportunity to align your work with your values! You’ll be joining a fast growing start-up that has a vision of advancing the green movement on a city-by-city basis across North America.
Requirements
- 2+ years of advertising sales experience. Previous inside sales experience, online advertising and local advertising experience a plus
- Passion for green living, experience in your category (health/beauty) a plus
- Exceptional phone and communication skills with the ability to sell at decision making levels
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Outgoing and personable
- Working understanding of a CRM system
- Knowledge of social media such as Facebook and Twitter
- Possess ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity to meet deadlines
- Strategically and creatively think in a fast-paced environment
