Description

We've grown a lot over the past 2 years and we're looking for a senior project manager that can deliver outstanding client services and take over management of the 6-8 projects we have going at any one time. The role requires someone with agency experience and the ability to not only project manage, but someone who can help strategize, communicate and grow the company. You should have at least 3-5 years leading technical web projects in an agency environment. The ideal candidate is someone looking to take on a senior management role within the next two to three years, and the operations, management and networking chops to execute. The current plan is to shift our founder out of the lead director role and into a strictly digital strategy and biz dev role within 2 years, so there is excellent opportunity for fast growth for the right person.

75% Project Management + Account Management

• Concept/strategy/ideation • Scope of work and formalization of project specs
• PM throughout entire production process (design, dev, QA, other add-on services, launch
• Project reporting (timelines, budget, scope/change requests, post mortems)
• Process (documentation, standards, efficiencies, etc)
• Explore existing clients for new projects: ongoing relationship management and integration with client teams

10% Partnerships

• Leverage technical partnerships for knowledge base (Facebook, WordPress, etc.)
• Business partnerships (referrals, biz dev, good peeps to know)
• Agency programs with products

10% Ops/Finance

• Monthly financial reporting (profitability, cash flow)
• Budgeting/forecasting • What projects are profitable and why
• Identify areas of growth, trends, risks
• Company marketing (website, communications, POV's, enewsletters, case studies, award competitions, etc.)

5% HR + Vendors

• Contribute to hiring process as team grows
• Company appreciation days + fun stuff to rally the team
• Retention + performance appraisals + professional development
• Engage contractors as necessary (extra bandwidth, specialty disciplines)

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience and Skills

• 3-5 years experice managing digital web & creative projects
• Experience in QA and detail oriented product evaluation
• Proven expertise and systems knowledge for project management
• Proven financial forecasting, budgeting and management
• Expert at common: Pages, Numbers, Excel, Keynote, Google Docs
• Experience with Wordpress content and system management (no coding or technical skills required)
• Knowledge of Photoshop, basic HTML, or other creative/technical skills a bonus
