We are seeking an Associate to work with the President of our new fund. The successful candidate will provide senior level support on a number of projects related to the development of the fund; have excellent communication skills with the ability to write copy for a number of communication vehicles and possess strong financial analysis and organizational skills. Our ideal candidate will be flexible, have the ability to multi-task with minimal supervision and work well in a team environment.
This position is a three month contract and could be either part or full-time. The position could become permanent if there is a good fit once the fund has been raised.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of initial contact for all investment clients
- Develop internal and external communications (PowerPoint, presentations newsletters, website content, including blog entries, etc.)
- Provide written and/or oral follow up for all clients as directed by President
- Track and monitor deal flow and prepare executive summaries
- Collect, analyze, consolidate and summarize information to assist the President
- Manage CRM database for the fund
- Complete or manage special projects as required
Qualifications
- University degree
- 3 years' relevant experience
- CFA charter or enrollment in the CFA program would be an asset
- Superior writing skills with the ability to integrate concepts and translate strategically into a variety of written communications
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality results
- Proficient with technology including all Microsoft Office applications; prior experience with Salesforce database would be an asset
- Excellent judgment skills, and ability to work effectively and sensitively with internal and external stakeholders

Salary Range: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
