Investment Manager, Community Capital
While your roots are in finance, your passion shows up in established community relationships and innovative solutions you’ve generated for businesses and social enterprises NGOs  With a proven track record in lending and investing private equity, mezzanine capital, venture capital, leveraged finance, and/or patient capital, you will find your skills and experience well utilized and be able to grow them even further in this new role within Vancity.
 
As a member of the Community Capital team you’ll provide capital and expertise by seeking alternate forms of financing to a targeted mix of growth-oriented businesses, including non-profit, co-operatives and community-based organizations. And most importantly, you’ll be an important part of an experienced and talented group who’s common mission is to drive social change and help communities thrive and prosper through creative partnerships and financial ventures.
 
A strong communicator, your broad business and educational experience  complement your personal resolution to contribute to positive change. You have direct experience providing mezzanine capital, venture capital, private equity, leveraged finance or social enterprise capital, solid experience with innovative financial lending and preferably proven experience in rolling out new pools of investment capital and direct third party fundraising experience. You have a passion for making a big difference with every dollar.  Your post secondary degree and 7+ years experience has helped you to become a seasoned deal person, but also one who is looking to help take Vancity and our communities forward.
