Looking for an intensive and engaging position on exquisite Cortes Island?
The Manager of Program Operations leads the delivery of world-class programs at Hollyhock, Canada's leading centre for lifelong learning.
The successful candidate will be a skilled negotiator, a flawless planner, has extraordinary attention to detail and is dedicated and passionate about Hollyhock’s mission. This talented individual will develop positive and collaborative relationships with our 120+ presenters to deliver Hollyhock’s programs on Cortes Island and in Vancouver. This position is responsible for two direct reports; Program Assistant and Production Assistant.
He/she is mature, has proven management experience, demonstrated initiative and excellent decision-making and communication skills. A background in marketing and event coordination is a strong asset. This position is full time March through October with the possibility of part time hours during the winter months. The successful candidate must be legally able to work in Canada and enjoy living in a rural setting.
