The Center for Leadership Initiatives is seeking an Office Administrator to work in its Vancouver, BC office. The Center for Leadership Initiatives, Inc. (CLI) catalyzes the power and potential of individuals to lead organizations and communities to higher vision, meaning, and effectiveness. As a private operating foundation, CLI offers programs that serve current and future leaders of the Jewish community. Through a weave of skills trainings, coaching, conferences and retreats, as well as online networks, CLI seeks to cultivate excellence, leadership and vision in the Jewish non-profit world.
The Office Administrator position in the Center for Leadership Initiatives, Inc, (CLI) Vancouver, BC, Canada office is an opportunity to contribute to Jewish life and non-profit leadership while refining professional skills sets in a collaborative environment. The Office Administrator is responsible for providing overall administrative support to the organization.
The Office Administrator is a member of the team of program analysts, administrators, financial and other professionals who share the responsibility for planning and implementing the full range of activities of the Schusterman Philanthropic Network (SPN), a consortium of the following related entities: (a) Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation, (CLSFF); (b) Schusterman Foundation - Israel (SFI); and (c) Center for Leadership Initiatives, Inc. (CLI).
CLI is involved in approximately fifteen programs, independently and through partnerships with other organizations that offer training and networking opportunities to improve the effectiveness of current and emerging leaders in the Jewish community worldwide. Through short-term and long-term programs, CLI uses cohort-based learning and crafted gatherings to meet the needs of its target population. CLI has two offices - one in Vancouver, BC, Canada and the other in Jerusalem, Israel.
Responsibilities
The Office Administrator will be responsible for general administrative support and managing the basic day-to-day administrative functioning of the office, which will include: (a) administration of CLI - managing office files and records, communications with other Schusterman entities and CLI program partners and participants, (b) providing administrative and research assistance to the Executive Director and other members of the CLI team (c) assisting with all aspects and logistics of special projects, special events and travel of CLI; (d) otherwise assisting in helping the CLI team operate effectively and efficiently; and (e) such other tasks as directed from time to time.
