Our local Account Executives are an integral part of our team. You are responsible for developing relationships and securing advertising commitments from the best GREEN businesses in your city.

Do You Love Your GREEN City? ethicalDeal Account Executives…
- Are outgoing individuals who live in their sales territory and possess a wide variety of connections in the GREEN business space (vegan restaurants, fair trade coffee shops, organic spas, outdoor activities, eco-retail stores, green cleaning services and more!)
- Are Outside Sales professionals who can prospect, negotiate and close ethicalDeals in a fast-paced environment while creating a strong merchant pipeline
- We offer a base salary plus competitive uncapped commissions, bonuses, and an opportunity to align your work with your values! You’ll be joining a fast growing start-up that has a vision of advancing the GREEN movement on a city-by-city basis across North America.
Responsibilities
- Develop and cultivate leads for ethicalDeal using a variety of online and offline sources
- Set up phone and in-person meetings with qualified prospects
- Present ethicalDeal as a unique alternative for businesses to acquire new customers and gain exposure
- Assess potential business deals, negotiate favorable terms and acquire prospective commitment
- Manage relationships with established clients and construct proposals and contracts within selling guidelines
- Communicate ongoing contact and sales activities in our CRM
- Gather the required information for the feature and liaise with our publishing team
- Meet individual sales goals
Requirements
- 2+ years of advertising sales experience. Previous outside sales experience, online advertising and local advertising experience a plus
- Passion for GREEN living and GREEN business
- Demonstrate top-notch communication and presentation skills with the ability to sell at all decision-making levels
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Outgoing and personable
- Working understanding of a CRM system
- Knowledge of social media such as Facebook and Twitter
- Possess ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity to meet deadlines
- Prior experience working from home/a virtual office is strongly preferred
