Tides Canada is in the process of completing a Navision (CRM) system implementation. We are seeking a seasoned ‘hands on’ project manager/business analyst with solid project and change management, communication and people skills for approximately four months (part time or full time, depending on project needs and resources) to oversee, drive and complete the system implementation. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Financial Officer and work with an implementation team to ensure that the efficiency and effectiveness of the system is built on sound processes and elegant solutions that result in a solid and integrated framework for the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and documenting clear requirements and business processes;
  • Completing a needs assessment for completion of system implementation;
  • Managing tasks toward the completion of critical functionalities, including grants management, report development, and data extraction;
  • Providing case management processes and tracking, including clean up, monitoring of issues, and prioritization of issues for remediation;
  • Determining further opportunities to increase automation and to implement further operational efficiencies;
  • Working with management and HR to plan and provide staff training;
  • Proactive and regular communication with staff to ensure process awareness and system acceptance;
  • Creating detailed user and system documentation, and
  • Rolling out final system enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant post secondary degree and/or project management professional (PMP) certification;
  • Proven project management proficiency and experience, preferably with technical systems implementation;
  • Strong understanding of software application/system implementation and workflow documentation methodologies;
  • Experience with CRM programs, preferably Navision and/or Serenic software;
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to train system users;
  • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot, problem solve and determine effective business and IT solutions;
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently;
  • Demonstrated initiative, organizational skills and ability to advance/complete projects;
  • Capability to influence and instill credibility by meeting project milestones, deadlines and budget, and
  • Proficient with MS Project or equivalent and MS Office.

Contract or Salary Range: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
