Public Outreach Fundraising is Canada's leading face-to-face fundraising agency specializing in monthly donor recruitment. We are privileged to work with the world's most respected non-profits, covering a range of issues including human rights, health, children's charities and the environment.

We are currently hiring a Fundraising Manager to run our Vancouver operation. The position reports to the national Fundraising Director, and is supported by a full service finance and IT department.

Public Outreach is growing and we are looking for the right candidate who will work with the existing Vancouver team, and expand operations across the lower mainland.

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and successful fundraiser, energetic, an experienced manager and trainer, with a track record of managing and completing campaigns on time and on budget.

Position Type: Full Time

Years Experience: 1

Compensation: Base Salary $37,000, Profit Sharing potential top up to $50,000. Medical benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the appropriate recruitment, hiring, training and evaluation to insure standards are achieved and contracts completed with an agreed upon timeline.
  • Overseeing staff scheduling, turf management and ensuring that all staff are actively fundraising to the levels specified in their job descriptions.
  • Coordinating the efforts of Program Manager`s, Supervisors, Trainers and admin. staff thru regular meetings and honest open communication.
  • Fostering an environment that is professional, honest, effective and respectful.
  • Ensuring that all donations are accurate, complete, confidential and delivered to the client in the appropriate manner.
  • Obtaining permits and licenses where necessary from the respective municipal authorities and ensuring good working relations within the community.
