For the past twelve years we have been hosting SVI at Hollyhock Centre on Cortes Island to an annual sell-out crowd of over 115 entrepreneurs. As a response to the ever growing number of businesses concerned with the triple bottom line in Toronto, SVI is coming east.
Social Venture Institute (SVI) Toronto
April 17–20, 2008
Kingbridge Centre, Toronto, ON
Developed by Gary Hirshberg, CEO of Stonyfield Farm, SVI enables social entrepreneurs to explore creative and practical ways to succeed. The combination of high quality mentors, a confidential and supportive environment, and a unique problem-solving format ensures that participants leave with a rich portfolio of skills, a plan to grow their social purpose enterprises, and a network of contacts to support their journey.
Since 1996, SVI has provided over 2,000 entrepreneurs the opportunity to strengthen their business skills, network with other social change leaders, and rejuvenate their passion and vision. By hosting an SVI in Toronto, this opportunity will be accessible to even more members of the social venture movement.
SVI Toronto is presented by Renewal, Social Venture Network (SVN) and Tides Canada Foundation and is generously supported by key sponsors and partners.
